Beactica Therapeutics
Beactica Therapeutics (est. 2006) is a precision medicine company developing novel small molecule therapeutics to treat life-threatening cancers with significant unmet clinical need. The company is located in Uppsala, Sweden.

Role in GLIOBREAK
Beactica coordinates the GLIOBREAK consortium, leading programme management and two key work packages: CMC development (WP3), manufacturing process, analytical characterisation, and formulation of BEA-17, and non-clinical safety (WP4), covering pharmacokinetics, toxicology, and regulatory dossier preparation toward a first-in-human IND/CTA submission.
Platform & Pipeline
The Eclipsor™ platform enables discovery of allosteric modulators and targeted protein degraders. BEA-17, a first-in-class non-PROTAC degrader of LSD1/CoREST, holds FDA Orphan Drug Designation for GBM, demonstrates good blood–brain barrier penetration and oral bioavailability, and potentiates anti-PD-1 and standard-of-care therapy (TMZ + radiation) in syngeneic tumour models.
